This year, CIVITAS Flagship Conference of CIVITAS Forum 2021 took place on 20-21 October in Aachen, Germany in a hybrid format, combining online and onsite activities with presentations and speeches from the cities, people and projects driving innovation in smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility, as well as to exchange and connect with city representatives, policymakers, practitioners, planners, NGOs, and academics.

eCharge4Drivers was presented by Dr. Evangelos Karfopoulos, Senior Researcher at consortium partner ICCS during Session 6: E-charging solutions. He talked about the design of the charging technologies & services as well as the outcomes of the a-priory analysis on user’s charging concerns, preferences, and expectations. He stated: “CIVITAS FORUM was a great opportunity for sharing different perspectives on charging technologies and service designs, as well as the experience from user surveys and e-mobility strategic planning studies, which, undoubtedly, can bring value to all related e-mobility stakeholders.” Talking about the opportunity eCharge4Drivers has along with the sister projects, he continued, “We have the possibility to expose the design frameworks of each other’s e-mobility charging solutions and the key findings from the user surveys to learn more about the users’ charging needs, preferences, and concerns. We had great presentations from experts, interesting findings, and fruitful discussions these two days.”
