On 26 and 27 June, eCharge4Drivers had the pleasure to participate in the final event of our sister project INCIT-EV. Over four years, INCIT-EV focused on charging infrastructure and technologies to boost the adoption of electric mobility, such as inductive charging, smart charging, or wireless charging and associated business models. The project’s final event in Paris and Versailles provided insights into its results and achievements, featuring various round tables and other opportunities to further the discussions and exchange experiences with experts in electric mobility. A tour of the charging infrastructures in Paris and Versailles was also organised to showcase the project’s work.

eCharge4Drivers was represented by Evangelos Karfopoulos from our Coordinator ICCS, who took part in a roundtable session on “Decoding the EV users and stakeholders’ needs and expectations”. Focusing on user needs and preferences regarding EV charging, services, accessibility, and payment methods, his contribution explored the privacy concerns of users related to information sharing, highlighting examples from the eCharge4Drivers approach and experience to promote user acceptance.

The collaboration between eCharge4Drivers and INCIT-EV has been instrumental in our mutual success. Our joint efforts in shared dissemination activities, including joint participation in key conferences and congresses, regular meetings, and the publication of the Synergy Club brochure, have significantly enhanced the visibility and impact of our projects, helping advance our common objective of accelerating the adoption of e-mobility.
